Flasher ATE2
The single-board gang programmer
Flasher ATE2 is a robust single-board gang programmer with eight independent programming channels. It is designed for high-volume automated production settings and automated test environments (ATEs) where space is limited and direct integration with automated machinery critical. Flasher ATE2 is tailored to users who simultaneously program multiple target devices, making it an ideal solution for manufacturers seeking optimized workflows.
Key features
Flasher ATE2 integrates seamlessly into production workflows. As as result, setups are simplified, cabling complexity reduced, and consistentency in automated workflows supported. The use of the same ultra-fast, proven flash algorithms as found in J‑Link and Flasher devices ensures reliable device programming with minimized downtime and production errors.

Compact housing
Smaller than Flasher Hub-12, Flasher ATE2 offers eight independent programming channels, including programming circuits. With its single-board design, it can easily slide into nearly any space-constrained production and testing setup.

Single connector
Flasher ATE2 has a single backplane connector on the target side, making it an ideal solution for cassette systems. Connections for host communication and remote control (USB, Ethernet, RS232) are located on the front side, where they are easily accessible. Unlike products that rely on multiple ribbon or USB cables, Flasher ATE2 has a compact and efficient design that simplifies installation.

Easy migration
Based on the Flasher Hub ecosystem, Flasher ATE2 uses the same control and programming methods as Flasher Hub-12 and Flasher Hub-4 paired with Flasher Compacts. This allows for easy swapping between the systems, with no significant adjustments to software. The result? Reduced setup times across different production stages.
Use cases
The ability to handle multiple devices simultaneously, adapt to different hardware configurations, and communicate with ATE systems makes the Flasher ATE2 a critical component in modern, scalable production lines.

Flash programming in productive test systems
By embedding Flasher ATE2 directly into automated test equipment, manufacturers eliminate the need for separate manual programming steps, reducing cycle times and human error. Such integration ensures seamless synchronization with other testing and assembly operations, enabling high-throughput production lines and real-time quality control.

Gang programming in high-volume manufacturing
Flasher ATE2 ensures seamless operation with existing SEGGER programming tools. This means easy reconfiguration when switching between production batches and simultaneously flashing firmware onto (multiple) devices. Flasher ATE2 considerably reduces programming time per unit, meaning manufacturers achieve higher throughput, consistent programming quality, and reduced production costs. Accordingly, Flasher ATE2 is an essential tool for scalable electronics manufacturing.
